² Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

³ Whatever divides the hoof and is clovenfooted and chews the cud, among the animals, that shall you eat.

⁴ Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud or of those that divide the hoof: the camel because it chews the cud but divides not the hoof; it is unclean unto you.
